- Turn on portable phone by holding the end call button
- Select “Settings” from the main screen
- Scroll down to “Network“ and select this menu option
- Select “Wi-Fi Networks” from this menu
- Select the correct Wi-Fi network SSID, if it is present. Otherwise select “Options” on the bottom right of the screen.
A) After selecting “Options”, select “Add SSID”
B) Input the SSID for the network
- Input the following information for the network
- Name/SSID – This is the exact name of the network as seen on the devices connected to it.
- Password – This is the password used to connect to the network.
- There is an option above the password to allow viewing the characters being typed. We highly recommend using this setting as it is very easy to make a spelling mistake.
- Hidden – Is the SSID hidden or is it broadcast for anyone trying to connect?
- Security type - WPA/WPA2
